Has to – used with He, She, It, Name.

When to use?
If a task means “must do”, then “have to or has to” is used according to the subject. But if the task is in Past Tense then we will use Had to.
Has to
Sentence Structure:
Subject + has to + 1st form of verb
For Example:
He has to eat.
# Here “He” is the Subject, then you have to put “has to”. But here you have to remember all the time – you have to put the 1st form of the verb.

Subject + have to + 1st form of verb

Had to
Sentence Structure:
Subject + had to + 1st form of verb
# But one thing to keep in mind here is that – the past form of “Have, has” is Had. So in the past we used “had to” to mean “had to do something”.
One more thing to keep in mind is that “Had to” can be used with all subjects.
For example:
John had to eat.
I had to study.
He had to go.
She had to listen.
Merry had to eat.
Merry had to sing.
You had to run.
We had to wait.
